For scale, the largest Technology & IT community we track is r/Futurology with 21,683,866 members — roughly 43 times the size of r/devops. Reddit itself launched in 2005, so a subreddit created in 2010 sits in the early wave of community building on the platform. Subscriber counts indicate reach, not activity — a large community can be quiet, and a smaller one busy.
