Created in 2008, r/phoenix has had over a decade to grow and is a large community by Reddit standards. For scale, the largest News & Politics community we track is r/worldnews with 47,479,601 members — roughly 128 times the size of r/phoenix. Subscriber counts indicate reach, not activity — a large community can be quiet, and a smaller one busy.
